School Meals

School Meal Information

School meals are prepared off site by the LA Food Support Service. Our school meals, although not cooked on the premises, are nutritious and good value. School meals can be booked online via Arbor.

Alternatively, your child can bring a nutritious packed lunch, which will be eaten in the school hall. Water is available, but children can bring their own drinks. Please do not send glass bottles, cans or fizzy drinks.

We are a nut free school so we ask you to please ensure that any food sent into school is nut free. This is for packed lunches, break time snacks, and after school club snacks.

Universal Infant Free School Meals

For ALL children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2, the government provide Universal Infant School Meals. This means that your child in EYFS and KS1 can enjoy a school meal at no cost to you. Please do encourage your child to take up this free meal.

Free School Meals

Families on low incomes can apply for their child to receive Free School Meals. This should be applied for even if your child is in EYFS or KS1 as it will entitle your child to additional benefits such as subsidised school trips, subsidised after school clubs, free school uniform, free break milk and targeted support for individual pupils.

To apply for Free School Meals please apply through the Leicestershire County Council online form:
