We would be grateful if you could ensure that your child does not wear the following:
- Sports shirts (Rugby or Football tops)
- Hoodies
- Leggings (unless for PE)
- Shoes with heels
- Trainers (unless for PE)
- Heelys, trainers with wheels in the base
- Flip flops, beach shoes or mules
- Boots. If your child wears boots to school, they must bring their school shoes with them to change into.
If the weather is truly awful, the children will not go out, or will go outside for 10-15 minutes to get some much-needed fresh air. As the children are encouraged to go outside in all weathers they may also require:
- A waterproof hooded jacket
- A hat for sunny days
- A hat, scarf, and gloves for cold days
Jewellery
For health and safety reasons we do not allow children to wear jewellery to school.
Exceptions are made for:
- Wrist watches. Not smart watches.
- Small earring studs in pierced ears. Not hoops.
- Small objects of religious significance or medical necessity.
We do ask the children to either remove these objects during PE, games, and swimming, or to cover them with a plaster/tape to prevent any potential injuries from occurring.
