Dear God,

Thank you for helping us to come to this beautiful church today to celebrate this Easter service. We are sorry when we say and do the wrong thing. Thank you for always forgiving us. Please help us to forgive others when they do or say something that upsets us.

Please bless all of the people in Ukraine and Russia. Help them to know that you are always with them, especially in this terrible crisis. Let them feel your loving arms around them.

Thank you, God, for everything you have provided for us. Thank you for our friends, our families and our homes. Thank you for our school and everyone who works in it. Please help us to always to the right thing so that we can bring glory to your name.

This prayer is a blessing from the Bible (Numbers 6 v 24-26). It can be used to bless others as well as ourselves:

The Lord bless us and watch over us;

The Lord make his face to shine upon us and be gracious to us;

The Lord look kindly on us and give us peace.

Thank you for family and friends

Thank you for times like these

Where we can gather together,

Share in food, drink and relax.

Please bless this meal, and all that it means.

May the food nourish us,

And those who do not have clean water to drink.

We are lucky and have enough and for this we are thankful.
