Saturday 18 May 2019 - May Fayre

 

The Higham-on-the-Hill Primary School fairies and elves are inviting children to enter their Fairy or Elf House Competition!

Bring your entry to the PFA House Donation Station in the school playground 8:45am-9:00am and 3:15pm-3:30pm between Wednesday 1st May and Friday 3rd May

 

Visitors to the fayre will be invited to walk through the fairy walk and vote for their favourite entry!

 

Please recycle one of the following to make your house – a 400g tin, a 500ml yoghurt pot, or a 2 pint milk carton! Recycle, upcycle or use unwanted materials to make and decorate your house. Try to make it as weather proof as possible.

 

First prize: a family day out at Bosworth Water Park, including pedalo rental and crazy golf!

Second prize: a Crafts in the Court voucher

All entries will receive a small prize

All entries will be available for viewing and voting at the May Fayre on Saturday 18th May.

Please complete the entry form and deliver it with your entry and £1 entry fee no later than 3:30pm on Friday 3rd May. Late submissions will be accepted but sadly cannot considered for the contest. Don’t forget to get your parent/guardian’s permission.

 

 

FAIRY AND ELF HOUSE COMPETITION RULES

  1. Competitors may enter one house.
  2. Competitors should be aged 12 or under and the house should be their creation.
  3. All entries should be made from one of the following items: a 400g tin, a 500ml yoghurt pot, or a 2 pint milk carton.
  4. Bring your entry to the PFA House Donation Station in the school playground 8:45am-9:00am and 3:15pm-3:30pm between Wednesday 1st May and Friday 3rd May (sorry but we can’t accept entries after this time).
  5. Each person entering the May Fayre will be offered a voting slip and a voting box will be placed at the Fayre. Counters will be appointed by the PFA. The PFAs’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Whilst every care will be taken with exhibits, the PFA cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to exhibits during judging and display.
  7. £1 entry fee payable for a fairy or elf house.
  8. Please complete the entry form below and hand it in, along with your entry fee, when you deliver your fairy or elf house!
